    Philly's looking at Brian Leetch.

Assuming he still has some wheels, he would be a huge upgrade over what they have right now. Rathje and Hatcher looked like they were skating in sand the other night against Pittsburgh.

They scored a late one tonight, but Phaneuf might not be the right guy for Calgary's 1-for-26 power play.

Alex Auld was freaking awesome for Florida tonight. They lost to Toronto in a shooutout.

Auld was great but he also had horseshoes up his derriere.

    Leafs are looking good.

Great game in MSG tonight. Pens-Rangers 5-5 with less than nine minutes left.

Somehow the Pens have had two goals scored by teenagers, and neither of them were Sidney Crosby. Jordan Staal scored a shorty and Kris Letang scored on a power play. Don't cry for Crosby though, he's got three assists.

There have been about five lead changes tonight as well.

Three goals by teenagers. Crosby banks a shot off Aaron Ward's skate into the net with 3.3 seconds left. Pens win 6-5 in a wild game.

Defense? We don't need no steenkin' defense.

I saw most of that Rangers-Pens game. Very entertaining, but I was hoping for overtime when Crosby shot if off of Ward's skate. That Shanny-Jagr line is going to be a good one.

Three natural hat tricks tonight - Brian Gionta had one in a Devils comeback, while Jonathan Cheechoo and Ryan Smyth each had one in the Sharks-Oilers game.

Three unbeatens left - Dallas, Minnesota and Buffalo.

Which makes me very happy. Even better, the Pens won on the road, which didn't happen very often last season.

The Rangers' defensemen sucked to death tonight. They need Kaspar back in the lineup immediately.
