With the ridiculousness of Vick, Henry, OJ, etc... there has to be enough felonious footballers to make an actual team, right? I tried to steer clear of DUI/DWIs because they happen so often. I'd also like to steer clear of drug offenders because, like heyabbott said, their addictions are diseases.

    OFFENSE
    QB - Michael Vick
RB - O.J. Simpson (offensive captain)
    RB - Lawrence Phillips
    FB - Jamal Lewis
    WR - Michael Irvin
    WR - Randy Moss
WR - Rae Caruth (team captain/spiritual leader)
    TE - Mark Chmura
    OL - Barrett Robbins
    OL - Nate Newton
    OL - Eric Steinbach
    OL - Jeremy Bridges
    OL - Ross Verba

    DEFENSE
    DL - Tank Johnson
    DL - Bill Maas
    DL - Leonard Little
    DL - Frostee Rucker
    LB - Lawrence TaylorBill Romanowski
LB - Ray Lewis (defensive captain)
    LB - A.J. Nicholson
    LB - Steve Foley
    CB - Adam "Pacman" Jones
    CB - Fred Smoot
    S - Terrence Kiel
    S - Sean Taylor

    MISC.
    K - Sebastian Janikowski
    P - Todd Sauerbrun
    KR/PR - Chris Henry
    Coach - Barry Switzer
    Cheerleaders - Carolina TopCats

There are many, many more winners on this list, thanks to the San Diego Union-Tribune

This can be done with every sport.

But the sheer numbers of good players getting busted is ridiculous. And some of the crimes are not the more common domestic assault, DUI, possession, etc. Basketball has a lot of bad eggs, but the rosters aren't nearly as big.

LT doesn't deserve to be on the team. Drug abuse isn't a crime, it's a disease

The vast majority of these players were "just" drug cases. No real major violent offenders in that group. I don't get me started on Joe Jackson. Plus, where are the numbers that the NFL provides?
