Alexander Haig hospitalized (Update, RIP)

For all the shit he got about that quote when Reagan was shot - there were times late in the Nixon Presidency when the President had a few too many drinks that Haig was in fact in charge.

Too bad nobody ever thought to ask Haig what he though about Charlie Weis.

 

To be more precise, he may have saved Tricky Dick from committing suicide. When shit got tight, it was Haig who ordered doctors to stop giving Nixon tranquilizers.
