    Gotta go with B.C.

The Als are the Buffalo Bills of the CFL. Five appearances in the last seven years and one win.

Forecast is for -8 degrees in Winnipeg, a virtual heat wave for this time of year.

A nice snowstorm would make it perfect.

Good piece by David Naylor on ethnic diversity in the CFL

Anthony Calvillo, of course. Utah State's gift to Canada that keeps on giving.

The real winners, however, will be the ones not watching it. :D

Very funny. It's on ESPN2 or something down there, isn't it?

Saw an interview with Calvillo yesterday. After the Ticats released him, he just about quit football altogether.

He still has a reputation for not being able to win the big one.

I really wanted this to be a Saskatchewan-Toronto final. Since it's not, I'll have to stick with the East and pick the Als to win.

Well, I was hoping for a Ti-Cat/BC final so we could have civil war in our house. :)

The team with Kerry Joseph will win. He's the next CFL quarterback who should get a shot at being Warren Moon in the NFL.

But I admit I don't even know if his team's still in the hunt. :-\

This will NEVER happen Next to Lord Stanley's Mug, the Grey Cup is about as Canadian as you can get.

Damien Cox gets it just about right in his blog.

The CFL is actually enjoying all time ratings successes up here.

And the game is consistently the single most watched sporting event.

E.g. last game 7 of the Cup finals got I think around 2.5 million viewers. Grey Cup will get between 3.5 and 4 million

Plays for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. They lost to B.C. Lions in the Western semi-final.

I was at my parents for last years game, I was surprised at how big an event it was. It was a great game too.......I'm rooting for BC, the people of Montreal don't deserve anymore championships in any sport.
