The largest plane was probably a DC-10 or whatever Boeing's equivalent is; the smallest was a 15-seat commuter.

Some airline in Europe, I can't remember which.

Biggest airplane: One of those double decker ones on a translantic (sp.?) flight.

Smallest airplane: 30-seat prop plane into Bend, Ore., in the dead of winter. Scariest flight I've ever done and I refuse to fly into that airport again.

Weirdest flight: My flight to Europe was the last smoking flight for whichever airline I flew. I sat in the middle part, in between two chain smokers. I was 14 at the time. I blame the dude next to me, who smoked 2 packs during the 9-hour flight, for the reason I started smoking four years later.

Weirdest flight Part II: I was in first class on the way home from Europe -- thanks airlines for the free bump up -- it was the middle of the night and the lady across the aisle from me had a wardrobe malfunction. Her breast fell out, and seeing how it was the first breast I had ever seen, I went ahead and scrapped out in my seat, finishing on the airline blanket. The next time the stewardess walked by, I gave her the blanket. She never asked why it was all sticky.

Weirdest flight Part III: I had a brief layover in Austria on that same trip. I'm not sure what the political situation in Austria was in 1994, but we weren't allowed off the plane and since there were Westerners aboard, they had military members guard the plane while carrying some sort of automatic weapons.

    Best airport: Frankfurt, Germany.

Worst airport: Wenatchee, Wash. Nothing like having to walk onto the tarmac to board, in a snow-storm no less.

Weirdest airport: Bucharest, Romania. It was really nice, but I don't think they were ready for Westerners. No one spoke English in the entire airport and getting through customs to meet up with the missionaries and my dad, who we were meeting up with, was an ordeal.
