Guess she is going out shooting. It is the Alamo state so it's fitting.

And that's the thing. She could be a great senator, the next Ted Kennedy. Helping build actual policy and actually helping all those people she talks about on the stump, for another 25 years.
Or she can tear her party apart in a month and still probably lose. If not in the primary than in the general.

I am reminded of a couple of statements by that great orator, legendary writer, polished actor and ropin' fool, Will Rogers:

"I am not a member of any organized party. I am a Democrat."

"You've got to be optimist to be a Democrat, and you've got to be a humorist to stay one."

She hasn't been a great Senator so far, so I don't see why that would change. I don't think she could name more than 5 cities in the state. She NEVER gets involved in any issue that pits NY against any other state or region, she leaves the dirty work for Schumer so she can keep her national appeal. As a senator representing her constituents she's been useless.

"New York ... I'm sure that's a city in New York and Chelsea lives there ... oh, and Albany because that's the state capital ... Buffalo, Syracuse and Bill and I have a house in Chappaqua."

If the Pennsylvania primary was in the middle of March, I could see a good reason to stay in the race. But five weeks with no vote is just going to lead to a long stretch of back-and-forth acrimony that leads to no conclusion. She should get out if she doesn't win both Texas and Ohio. But I suspect if she wins Ohio, she'll keep running.

She can file an awful lot of lawsuits in five weeks.
