    Is there a link?

I thought the shooter hadn't been identified yet.

Here is the blog post, a cached version at least: longdarktunnelblog

Shooter was officially identified as this guy not too long ago. Name was floating around last night. I became more interested because his workplace is listed as being in my little rinky-dink hometown, nowhere near UCLA or California.

Hell. If you punch the professor and he defends himself, now you're *allowed* to shoot him.

She was an ex-girlfriend who defriended him on Facebook. Like a soccer ref who repeatedly makes bad calls, she had it coming.

Minneapolis to LA? That's a couple of days, even with minimal stops. On top of quant's post, I'll have to watch who I unfriend.

Victim is described as a devout Christian.

Not sure how that is relevant.

As much as you would like this to be the case, it didn't cross my mind that this would have been an act of terror. A student, who is on the record for some time as having some academic dispute with his professor, shot him. No one is avoiding anything. No one is covering anything up.

That's not what you wrote before.

Did he buy the weapon on campus?
