This one isn't posted yet, but it will be in some form soon.
SE Nathan Sanders resigned recently after taking some sort of sabbatical. So, Abilene has an opening once again.
It sucks he stepped down, because Sanders is a cool dude and I thought he was going to take Abilene in a good direction.
    But, so is life.

Reading that preps story recently that didn't even have a final score in it ... bad.

It had been there, but the link is dead now.

And to answer the circ question:
Frequency Circulation Type Total Circulation* Filing Status
    REPORTER-NEWS, ABILENE (TAYLOR CO.) AVG M (M-F) DLY 30,633
REPORTER-NEWS, ABILENE (TAYLOR CO.) SAT M DLY 33,454
REPORTER-NEWS, ABILENE (TAYLOR CO.) SUN DLY 40,305

That circ is down about 20,000 in five years, if I'm not mistaken. The situation in Abilene has been discussed here before.

Not saying this to argue with you, boots, but to say that borders on absurd.

This is a Cardinal sin of journalism. Yes, there are a thousand or two dailies in this country, but mentioning the final score somewhere in the story is drilled into our heads so many times, it's one of those things you don't forget unless a.) no one is checking your pages but yourself and b.) you're really inept.

It's a little too outrageous of a comment to let slide. I've said my peace, though.
