Jim Traber arguing with Nick Collison about whether it's an insult to OKC to say it's hot there pretty much sums up OKC, doncha think?

Traber was an insufferable fucking boob when he was the color guy on Diamondbacks games back in the day. Good to see he's still a moronic prick.

And how about the dig he took at Jenni Carlson? "She went to Kansas. She probably wants to have your babies."

    Unreal.

I know it says "Traber" on the guy's back in that video, but are we sure it's not John Kruk?

I love his Wikipedia entry [no, I haven't made any recent changes or additions].

James Joseph "Jim" Traber (born December 26, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio)[1] is a former Major League Baseball player who currently works as a sports talk show host in Oklahoma City.[2]
Traber played both baseball and football at Oklahoma State University, where he was a starting quarterback in the early-1980s.[2] He was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1982 Major League Baseball Draft.[3] and played parts of four seasons for the Orioles between 1984 and 1989,[3] where his nickname was "The Whammer".[4]
After his MLB career, Traber played baseball in Japan for the Kintetsu Buffaloes in 1990 and 1991.[2] His time in Japan is perhaps most memorable for an incident in which Traber rushed the mound subsequent to being hit by a pitch, chasing the retreating pitcher into the outfield. After charging the pitcher a second time, he tripped while running and was kicked in the face on the way down. Grainy footage of this incident is still widely distributed on the Internet.[5]
His involvement with sports talk radio began after his retirement from professional sports. He also served as a television color analyst for Fox Sports' regional coverage of the Arizona Diamondbacks during the team's World Series victory season of 2001.[2] Currently, Jim hosts "The Afternoon Sports Beat" and "Total Dominance Hour," shows on WWLS radio station in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.[6]
His sister is a civil rights attorney in California, and his brother, Peter G. Traber, leads the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Jim's wife Julie is the president of a multimedia company in Oklahoma City.[citation needed]
Traber was named as one of the all time worst players in Orioles history, in an article titled, "The Zeros of Birdland"[7]
