    Last November I posted something here about Brian Hickey, a Philly-based freelance writer (and my old chum from the U of Delaware) who was left for dead by a hit-and-run driver. Well, the response was pretty powerful, so I wanted to share the below link—Hickey's first article since the accident. It's a piece on his experiences, and, personally, I loved it. Many of us really believe Hickey would either die or remain in a coma. A staggering comeback ...

    Wow. That was a great story, period. But to think of where the guy was just five months ago? Amazing. Thanks for sharing.

    The part about his buddy having to explain his text to his dad was great.
