A real football hero

    I hate the cavalier use of the term "hero" for athletes. However, this kid is definitely a hero.

    With him being a four-star recruit, I think you'll be hearing a lot of him in the future.

    I wish him the best in the future. Heroism I can only imagine.

    I hope he gets celebrated more for his heroism than his football; too many times our societal values are misplaced towards sports.

    Not until faced with real adversity can a hero be born. His actions make me feel good about humanity.

    I saw a bit about it on the Today Show (I think that's the show that was on; I wasn't paying attention). They showed the story and then they interviewed the kid.

    This is one of those things you'd love to see follow him in life.
