    One of the female anchors I mentioned has finally retired. Janet Hall, who first took an weekday anchor seat here in 1985 after some time on the weekends, has hung 'em up. Good journalist who has gone to a well earned retirement after a thirty-five year run.

    I think now it is Pizza Fridays. They hype (give free advertising to) a local pizza joint, who just happens to deliver a bunch to the station in time for the morning news. The two anchors pretend to really be enjoying having pizza for breakfast every week, which I haven't done since college.
