A great streak ends

Yesterday was a sad day in my life. My streak of 4 3/4 years without taking a sick day ended. Spent all Monday night and Tueday morning in the washroom, made a valiant attpet to keep the streak alive, but was home by 10 a.m. and in bed for the rest of the day. Still not 100 per cent, but doing my best to start a new streak.
It was actually the first sick day i had taken from my working life since I was in Grade 12 and sprained my ankle before heading out to work at the local golf course. That's a streak of 7 years. I could count my sick days in high school on one hand. I only count back the 4 3/4 years because of college when I had more then a few self inflicted sick days.
Any other similar or strange personal streaks still alive?

Every day for seven years, I've bought a newspaper just based on the design of the front page.

    I have shattered Seinfeld's no-streak. I haven't vomited since 7th grade, more than 20 years ago.

I had a streak going of more than five years without seeing a movie in a theater, but I broke it last month to see The Departed. Great film, so it was worth it.

I once worked 10 out of 14 days. That was one streak I never want to replicate.
