    Hank Sr., Willie, Waylon, Cash, Haggard, George Jones, Patsy Cline.
    Second seven:
    Kristofferson, Loretta Lynn, Charlie Rich, Tammy Wynette, Charlie Pride, Ray Price, Buck Owens.

    Admittedly, I have a Texan bias.

    Steve Earle is strong. Dwight Yoakum is about as close as it gets for me as far as liking mainstream country. I use "mainstream" loosely.
