Basically, it's going to be like DirecTV.
A basic package of music, news and sports talk will cost $9 or $10.
A sports package of MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, CFB, CBB will vary, say $10 for the whole thing or cherry pick for a few bucks each.
Expanded music and talk for an extra $5.
The whole enchilada will be a little under $25 (since a combined XM/Sirius sub would cost $26).
The WP had a great story earlier this week about how (if the merger is OKed) the new company would not be able to add any extra channels since each system is maxed out now.

Wonder how severe the subscriber hit will be in the face of the the doubled-up price. I was about to go at $12.95, but I'm not so sure about $25.

I spend enough time with it that, for me, I'd just have to say damn the cost. I'm taking what they have.

    F em.
Either the FCC makes sure they offer the combined service at the current price or deny the merger. Period.
