    Since you know her and the family, I have a good question: if she didn't even have her barely marginal talent and instead of being a 9.5 on a scale of 10 in terms of hotness (at least on her good days), let's say she was a solid 7. Where do you think she'd be? Married to some bubba with four kids and working at Wal-Mart?

    If you're saying she reached the biggest-name-in-pop-at-the-time level by just being sexy, I'd say...why didn't Jessica Simpson get there? Christina Aguilera?

    I'm really not familiar with her work, but the NYT has a story today on her court-appointed guardianship. Not a fan, but it was an interesting read.

    This news made me go back and check on the teen stars of my generation. If you're a child of the 80s (like myself) you'll be shocked to hear that Debbie Gibson will be turning 46 later this year and Tiffany will be turning 45.
