    They have to be staying in-house, I'd reckon. Other than Chris Korman, I can't remember the last time they actually had an opening where they hired from the outside.

    EDIT: I really didn't think they'd go outside, but shows you what I know.
     
  2. New Patriot-News SE is Paul Vigna, who comes back to central Pa. after 10 years as an ASE at the Philadelphia Daily News.

    He used to be the SE at the York Daily Record in the mid-to-late 1990s.

    Good guy to work for, by all accounts I've heard.

    We'd get back up to the press box from the locker room and he'd be packing up.

    Nice guy, wish him well.

    Having worked for Paul, I can honestly say the Patriot-News made a great choice. Paul is a class act, personally and professionally. Philly's loss is Harrisburg's gain.

    Having worked with Paul for almost a decade in Philly, mpecial said it just right. Harrisburg sports section is in great hands.
