    Next time go to Target or WalMart and apply for third-shift work. That'll make you feel ignored.

    Thought about that... but I'm not in shape for 40 minutes of hell around the Anderson household... from laundry to mowing to picking up the dry-cleaning... I'd need at least a two-month training regimen for that. :)

    It is too late for now, but getting on the local school's sub teacher list isn't a bad idea in case of future furloughs.

    Already looked into that. I was told to wait to July, so I don't waste a year of a four-year certificate. So, I shall wait.

    No matter what you do, you should make sure it is under the table and then file for unemployment -- that way you can get paid unemployment compensation if you have to take a second week later in the year.

    Deliver phone books... guy at our shop is doing that for two weeks.
