    Read an interesting fact that every year 3000 cows are needed for
    the leather used to produce NFL footballs.

    This makes it sound like they are killing 3,000 cows to make footballs. In reality, they are going to kill 3,000 cows anyway for delicious cuts of meat and leather goods. If the cow isn't going to become a football, it's going to become a pair of ass less chaps.

    I wonder how many cows "give their lives" annually for the food that is served in NFL stadiums. I'm guessing it's a lot more than 3,000.
