3 killed in shooting near Texas A&M University

    3 are dead. One they think is a police officer and one is the gunman...

    Happened three blocks from the intramural fields where they play the 7-on-7 state tournament every summer. I was there just three weeks ago. Other than the location, though, the shooting doesn't appear related to the university.

    I'm told the wounded woman was the mother of a TAMU student. She was helping her daughter move from the neighborhood when the shooting started.

    The shooter was a 36-year-old man who had a history of mental issues.
