One loss to the Jets and this is what happens. Tough business.

So this week, the sport is losing…

    9 college football titles
    7 Super Bowl trophies
    3 7-10 seasons in a row

    And keeping Eberflus.

It’s like watching the football coaching version of the last ten minutes of “Casino”, where the mob guys get popped one-by-one.

Carroll just got popped in the parking lot after eating a steak.

Now Belichick and his son are getting driven out to the cornfield. Robert Kraft and his son are waiting with baseball bats.

Belichick's way of doing things is done let's hire Vrabel or Mayo for a new perspective and fresh start

Belichick is said to be out as Patriots coach after 24 seasons

Bill Belichick drove a period of unmatched success for the New England Patriots, winning six Super Bowl titles, but endured a lackluster final season.

Unlike Marty Schottenheimer, whose teams wilted in the postseason, Bill Belichick drove a period of unmatched success for the New England Patriots, winning six Super Bowl titles, but endured a lackluster final season.

The quality of head coaching was already pretty bad, and now you're removing Belichick and Carroll from the pool. Consider some of the guys who were hired in the last few cycles (Nathaniel Hackett, Brandon Staley).

"Bright, Young, Minds" (translated means will work for less and let the GM call the shots).

I think by this time next week, Ben Johnson's price will be about half what it is now. It isn't that they are bad, or even young, to me - just that they seem to have limited experience in the NFL - either in years, or they've only been with one franchise.

I’m sure that if they could have removed Hoodie as having final say on personnel decision, they would have. But that would have been a recipe for disaster so it made sense to move on from him.

Albert Breer - who I think is decent - said Vrabel is a possible in Vegas since Brady is eager to be an active minority partner and has Davis' ear. No question about Vrabel being an upgrade over McDaniels, but you also dumped the GM - it would make minimal sense - but then we're talking about Mark Davis.

And is Brady still committed to be Fox's No. 1 color guy next year? Or will that be retconned in a brief press release sent out in the second quarter of the Super Bowl. Always figured that deal was Fox trying to save face after losing Aikman and Buck - like those celebrities who always turn up vacationing with SI swimsuit models weeks after a messy break-up.

Vrabel's bound to replace Belichick, isn't he?

I bow in your general direction.
Oh……and Sharon Stone is playing the part of Arthur Blank.
