"Write what you know", right? She's got 14 Grammys.

I saw Bonnie Raitt play on the banks of the Red Cedar River in a free concert at Michigan State in the 70s

And this gem from The Toys, music from Christian Petzold, often mistakenly credited to Bach.

The lyrics I grew up with:
    How gentle is the rain
That falls softly on the meadow?
Birds high up in the trees
Serenade the flowers with their melodies
Oh-oh, see, there beyond the hill
The bright colors of the rainbow
    Some magic from above
Made this day for us, just to fall in love

Classical music hasn't influenced rock and roll?

My wife saw the Harvard Square Theater concert where Springsteen was the opening act for Raitt. According to rock and roll legend, she wouldn't go on to follow Bruce. According to Alice, Raitt did go on, but clearly wasn't thrilled with her situation.

Well, hell, anyone who had seen Bruce wouldn't want to attempt to follow him.

What did Kate Bush do exactly, I mean, other than her 35-year-old 1-hit wonder got new life in a TV show?

A goddamn travesty. Should have been in years ago but the RRHOF either hates or simply doesn't know what to do with metal acts and never has.

Yep. That song had existed for decades when she previously had been nominated, but now that it got some play on Stranger Things, suddenly she's worthy?
