If they're going to give Miz the MITB case, and then give it back to him, why are they having him lose practically every match he's in? They could've given the case to any of the other guys in the MITB match other than Otis and they would've been great with it. Even after Otis winning, they could've gotten it to Corbin or Styles. But they give it to the Miz and keep him losing matches. It makes zero sense. Build him up as a threat of some kind at least.

 

Of course, I'm also the guy that still thinks the Miz could be a top heel with a top belt if they'd do things right.

I keep wondering if the "has been B-level star" is a self-deferential part of Miz's gimmick, or they just don't realize how sad it sounds to brag on main eventing one Wrestlemania 10 years ago.
