Because they’re the Rays, Mejia will hit .340 for them.

They probably already know the one tweak they need to make him the hitter he was projected to be three seasons ago.

If the Giants are going to suck for at least a couple of years while Farhan beefs up the farm system and rule 5 bargain basement deals, I need someone to knock LA off its perch. Just don't do all of this and turn out like the D-Backs.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling this all ends in a fire sale in about 18 months.

Are they trying to get rid of every player in their farm system with a foreign-sounding name?

I can’t believe more teams aren’t following the Padres’ lead. This is like the wake of an economic downturn. A great time to buy at fractions on the dollar.

Padres gonna be a fun team to watch.

Wonder how long it will take to set the free agent market. Nobody in a big hurry right now.

Love the aggression by SD. This is what we fans want right? Your team trying to win and easiest apparent route is with stars, not hoping to unearth the next young Trout/Soto/; wait Ad has Tatis TOO!! Even after Hosmer, still spending. Love it.
