Not sure you can claim Zimmer as part of the Lewis tree, but point taken.

 

Yeah, I don't really know what qualifies someone as part of a coaching tree, honestly.
Even more of a stretch would be Hue Jackson when he gets hired for one of the openings this year

Lewis' tree has yet to produce a playoff win, same as the tree.

Can Parcells claim Zimmer. He has s fairly impressive tree

 

Yeah, giving Lewis credit for Zimmer is kind of like giving Urban Meyer credit for Charlie Strong.

Strong was a Spurrier guy long before he coached under Meyer, and actually got his first coordinator job under Lou Holtz.

 

I wish to god the Titans would, after trading down to create the pick.

Edit: I see the Titans have also released their GM. A year too late.

 

No coach has ever won a Super Bowl with two teams. Not sure I'd bank on Payton to be the first. I think only five (Parcells, Reeves, Fox, Vermeil and Shula) have ever made the Super Bowl with two teams.

 

I think Titans fans would take 6 wins in a season at this point.

 

Also on the Dolphins' list as of this morning: Adam Gase, Teryl Austin, Doug Marrone and Campbell. Mike Smith also reportedly could be in the mix.

 

I would like to read Marrone's "Why I Quit My Job" column before making a final decision on him.
