You mean Marshall isn't headed to Bama to replace Anthony Grant? :D

Damn right they do. Every time I'm down that way for a VT game (or anything, really), I make a point to have breakfast there at least once. The morning before the VT-ECU game last year we stopped in and got Boberry and chicken biscuits for our entire tailgate. Well worth it.

Now that I think about it, we've got it here in Richmond, too. But I'm not going to the East End unless I have a flight to catch.

I think I heard they are going to put one on Pantops in Charlottesville, so you can stop on your way back from UVa games.

Former University of Dayton coach out at DePaul.
Former University of Dayton player out as coach at Alabama.
Former University of Dayton coach on the hot seat at Georgia Tech.
Even if Archie Miller is a hot commodity, do you take a "Flyer" (see what I did there?) on him?
Are all things college coaching going through Dayton, Ohio these days?

I wouldn't let that stop me from hiring Miller. He's done a better job at Dayton than Gregory, who followed up his one NCAA Tournament win with 7th and 8th-place conference finishes before getting the Georgia Tech job. I still don't understand the thinking for that hire on GT's end.

Purnell did a solid job at Clemson and should have never taken the DePaul job. That just wasn't a rebuilding job he was a good fit for. Actually, if Georgia Tech was going to get rid of Gregory it probably could do worse than Purnell.

Don't disagree at all ... Purnell was on the upswing at Clemson. Never did get the DePaul appeal (except, I think, he is from that area originally). I think Purnell is a pretty good coach. Gregory had ups-and-downs at UD.

Honestly, it was more the UD connection in the whole carousel that intrigued me ...
