Correct. I believe the only male actors with three Oscars are Jack Nicholson (2 for Best Actor, 1 for Best Supporting) and Walter Brennan (3 for Best Supporting).

I know people develop emotional attachments to actors and actresses, but would you really be ecstatic?

Thought Strathairn as Seward was a better performance that Tommy Lee's...

I love Bond, and while "Skyfall" was great no way does it get a best picture nomination. "The Dark Knight" didn't and was a better movie. Why? They're too genre. They're too popular. They're the movies that can win for effects and possibly acting, but never the big two: director and picture.

Anyway, I'm mostly curious how Seth McFarlane does as host.

Why? Because there were only 5 slots. After TDK was squeezed out, the Academy expanded the field to include as many as 10 pictures, in order to insure that at least one or two of the Best Picture nominees had grossed at least $100 million.

No emotional attachments... Just two actresses whose work I enjoy.

I'm in the minority and thought Skyfall was awful right from the start, but Bardem deserves a nod for supporting actor. He was fantastic.
