How come there's no more confidence points? I actually liked that part, even though I didn't know what the hell I was doing.

Please welcome Fall With Pawwl. And how did Samford-Georgia State become pick 'em material? Passive-aggressive revenge from a Yahoo employee that can't telecommute?

Colorado v. Colorado State is having trouble selling advance tickets.

    I read that it's a series that's been around a while.
The Buffs lead the all-time series something like 61-20, but I'm picking the Rams to win this year's clash.

Also, I'm curious to see if any picker here can get more than 60 percent correct, since we are going strictly against the spread.

Consistently picking games correctly, against lines, is tough, tough, tough.

The confidence points part of it is the most time consuming, and I decided to change it for this year.
If we want it back, we can change next season. Or for the pro game that's likely to pop up here in a few days.
I just figured folks would enjoy a reprieve from having to make all the spreads decisions, then go thru all the confidence points time consumption.
For me, that's always what takes up too much of my time.

I like the idea of going without confidence points.

One way to do it for the pros game would be to do WITH confidence points but without spreads.
Just picking winners and assigning confidence points.
What's the feeling here for something like that?
If you eliminate one of the time consumers (spreads or confidence points) the weekly
chore of participating in the game is lessened.
We can generate lots of comeback points if we use confidence points, but I'm for ditching the spreads.
    What say y'all?

I like that plan for the pros.

I prefer picking against the spread. The confidence points takes too long.
