Ranked No. 2 behind Andrew Luck, according to many analysts:

I think LaMichael James has announced as well...

I guess technically, Andrew Luck hasn't announced yet.

LMJ has not announced, and has denied reports that he's made up his mind.

I don't think anyone realistically believes he's returning, and he's very likely just waiting until after the Rose Bowl to announce it.

Most schools get pissed if players announce before the bowl game, which I've never understood because then they're not asked about it in the weeks before the game.

Obviously Kalil doesn't have that problem (a bowl to play in), which is why it's coming out now.

VT running back David Wilson, fresh off a 1,700-yard season, said yesterday he has made a decision, but he won't reveal it until after the bowl game. Dick.

Any runningback with a first or second round grade should leave early. There is no reason to allow the body to take 300 hits for free.

Completely agree since that's the position with the shortest window to succeed in the NFL and the easiest to get injured.

A VT running back in the NFL should be a lock to succeed.

They have tended to get hurt, I guess. Lee Suggs, Ryan Williams and Kevin Jones come to mind.

Another lock is that VT seems to reload at RB each year without much, if any, dropoff.
