I still think the Cardinals will win it all. The worse the team they put into the postseason, the better the results.

Horrible managing by Fredi Gonzalez to not pinch-hit for Medlen down a run with two outs and a 25-man bullpen sitting there.

Pat Neshek and his wife join the A's in Detroit. Sounds like he might not be on the postseason roster, but “The first thing she said is we need to get out of here and watch baseball, and that was fine with me. I wanted to be with her and I wanted to by her to get through this.”

Braves-Orioles -- Both teams were based in Milwaukee at one time. Orioles started in Milwaukee in 1901 before becoming the St. Louis Browns.

Wow. Infield fly rule on a biffed medium deep flyball. That's some bullshit, as evidenced by the fact both runner advanced safely when it dropped.

Just got home, and turned on the game.

    Terrible call.

Too deep for infield fly call. The infield fly rule is to protect the offense from being doubled up by an infielder dropping the ball on purpose. That could not have happened on that ball.

And, I have no idea why an outfield ump is making the call.
