For the other side of that, I saw Chicago just last summer, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Two hours worth of hits.

Just reminded me of when Brown was on SNL last year. Forget who was hosting, but for the goodnights, the stage had only the host, Brown and his posse hopping around. Guess the cast was in Rhi-Rhi's corner.

When you have a bunch of ladies on Twitter inviting you to beat on them, I guess it's easy to have that attitude.

I saw this tour as well (with the Wondermints backing him up) at the Hollywood Bowl. It was truly hair-in-your-arms-standing-up type stuff at times. Then again, I'm a huge Beach Boys fan. I can imagine that if you were a casual fan who went because your spouse is a big fan, you might not appreciate it so much. Wilson had a keyboard in front of him, which seemed more like a prop than anything (I'm honestly not sure it was plugged in). He also, in course of introducing songs, claimed that the following songs had been voted "the greatest song of all-time":

    - "Be My Baby"
    - "Don't Worry Baby"
    - "Good Vibrations"
    - And possibly another cover he did (maybe a Righteous Brothers song?)

As for Dave Grohl, I've never heard anyone say anything personally about him other than him being a genuinely nice guy. I know quite a few people who work in the music industry and I've heard nothing but great stories about how easy he is to deal with. Maybe it's all an act and he can turn on people on a dime like Phil Hartman as Ronald Reagan with Jimmy Stewart in that old SNL sketch, but I'd be surprised.

Plus, Foo Fighters have the coolest rider in music.

Anyone see the tour itinerary for the Beach Boys? I swear, they're trying to kill Brian. They open with 5 shows in 6 days, stretching from Arizona to North Carolina.

I cannot get the "Rolling in the Deep" Target commercial version out of my head. Love these kids.

Rhianna is Chris Brown's corner. She's been defending him at least a year now.

Whoever scheduled those shows for The Beach Boys is on crack.

I'm all for going cross country, but to go from Arizona to North Carolina, then work your way back north, then back west, then back east, then to Canada, then to Europe?

Someone will die on this trip.
