Can't wait to hear Yankees fans bitch when Cliff Lee re-ups in Texas:

That can't happen. Didn't you hear? Every good player in the world plays for the Yankees because MLB allows them to have a 100-man roster.

So nice that you little boys are obsessed with me.

Y'all really want to clog this up with the salary cap discussion? I'm game.

    Two points:
    1. Let's wait and see where Lee actually signs.
    2. If the Yankees don't get Lee, they'll probably get Carl Crawford. They could still end up with both.

    One question:
How exactly does Lee re-upping with a team in the fourth-largest market in the country, a team with a huge new television deal, counter my argument about big markets buying up all of the good free agents?

Ain't that cute? Overly simplistic and silly, but cute.

Point being games are played on the field, not the spreadsheet, and all the money in the world doesn't guarantee a title.

And I'm not even involved in this! (For once) Lay the fuck off me!!! :D :D :D

Nobody ever said money guaranteed anything, though what the Yankees did last year came darn close.

Easy picking once they lost. Where were you while they were beating the Twins telling us how he regressed personally back to his 2008 self.
