The key to everything with Cincinnati's offense is still Carson Palmer. Not Chad Johnson, or whatever his name is now, or Terrell Owens nor Antonio Bryant or anyone else.

Palmer can make the throws and has shown over the years that Johnson's over-the-top act with the media does not faze him or his ability to run the offense. As much as Owens is a preening, look-at-me epitome of self-importance, the key is still Palmer.

Give the Bengals some credit for keeping Owens on a very short leash with a one-year deal. Should minimize the locker-room poisoning.

Super Bowl official admits to having an off game. This should be fun.

Meh. Everybody knew that it was a badly officiated game all the way around. The issue is the idiots who thought it was fixed.

Broncos' DL Elvis Dumervil may be out for the season with a torn muscle. Dumervil led NFL in sacks last season.
