    He's the captain of the Habs. He should take a page out of Bob Gainey and Sid the Kid's book: learn to speak French--at least enough to do interviews.

    I'm sure he will, Koivu wasn't the best at speaking French but he sure tried to please the fans by speaking the language.

    I know there was the whole 07 incident where he got criticized for not speaking French to the fans, but I believed he made an effort after that.

    He didn't speak often, but he did try from time to time.

    The link doesn't work, but this is the same guy who took a shot a few days ago at the mayoral candidates for Toronto, saying he wasn't impressed by their lack of "vision" for the city.
