I always thought Dwight Howard was a bit overrated on the defensive side of the ball. Just because he blocks shots in the fifth row doesn't mean he's good defensively.

Who do you think he learned that from?

Oh, I'm not denying Kevin Garnett does the same thing. But KG is a way better defender then Howard is, and personally I don't believe it's even that close.

Those 2 years are huge on Garnetts knees. I don't care what Rivers says, what's he supposed to say? All you had to do was pay attention last year to see he is not nearly the player he used to be. He can do it in spurts but not over a long consistent basis. I like Garnett but but he has a ton of miles on those legs.

Who in their right mind sits around pondering who's going to be the NBA defensive player of the year?

It's for the steals and blocked shots on your fantasy team!!!

We'll see when the season starts, I believe that Kevin Garnett will be better than he has been during the last two seasons.

Actually, we won't see until much later in the year.

As a Sixers fan, the talk of Evan Turner being a bust scares me to no end, but I'm a huge Jrue Holiday fan and to see him evolve into one of the game's really good young PGs is going to be a treat. That said, nothing else about the Sixers excites me unless Doug Collins grows back the porn stache he rocked in the 70s.

Miami and LA in the finals, LeBron's true coming out party and the Heat win in 7.
