Kucinish has his appeal just because he's so far removed from the rest of the dreck that's in the race. The same could conceivably said for Ron Paul, since his most harebrained proposals won't ever happen.

My interest in Huckabee rose before his national appeal did, but crashed just as it reached the same crescendo.

Of course, there's the faction that just wants his wife as the First Lady. :D

In the race of attractive mates, Fred Thompson wins in a landslide.

    She's a looker. I guess she's 24 years younger than him, too.

    Word up on that.

Oprah's involvement in the Obama campaign might actually hurt him. While the momentum is with him, I am not sure Oprah can seal the deal. Romney is a douchebag, McCain won't even get on the ballot and while I know Biden from the Clarence Thomas hearings for the Supreme Court, don't think he is a serious contender for the nomination or presidency.

  8. I keep waiting for HOW the Oprah endorsement hurts him.
I reiterate -- she can get millions of people to buy Mitch's books, she can sell anything.

Fred Thompson is proof that scientists have done great things with formaldehyde.

You will be waiting a long time.

  11. I don't know, Boom. Maybe there is an anti-Oprah backlash out there that I'm just not aware of, but the woman seems to get more popular by the second.

Selling stuff and influencing votes are two different things. There is room for voter backlash here.
