    :) Exactly! And it's hard to get snow balls to curve or sink.

    It must also be difficult to keep good athletes there when most of them try out for the luge or the bobsled team. [/I know the jokes suck, but it's almost 5 a.m. here EST]

    I'm not sure if you are implying that baseball in Western Pa. is inferior because it is in bad climate, but in actuality that isn't the truth. There are a handful of kids drafted each year from Western Pennsylvania and a number of others who go to Division I programs.

    Granted it is not California but as Northern cities and regions go, the baseball around Pittsburgh is very strong
