    Is Kruk an idiot?!?! The Baseball Tonight guys are picking their All-Star Game MVP and Kruk picked Varitek. He has to be the dumbest guy on that show ever.

    The one thing I'll say about using a pitcher in the All Star Game who pitched Sunday or Saturday is that a Tuesday would normally be the day they'd throw on the side anyway. And no one on the NL side is expecting to pitch more than two innings. And I think only Ben Sheets would really be expected to throw two innings.
