Agreed. What a complete wuss and weasel. He is such a freaking baby. Waaaah! I couldn't stay for the Super Bowl, I had to go home and watch it in my living room! What a jerk and a joke.

Pallister and the five others win the gold star

    Week 1
Thursday Night: Saints at Colts (NBC)
    Sunday: Bears at Chargers (FOX)
Sunday Night: Giants at Cowboys (NBC)
Monday Night: Ravens at Bengals and Cardinals at 49ers (ESPN doubleheader)

    Thanksgiving
    Packers at Lions (FOX)
    Jets at Cowboys (CBS)
    Colts at Falcons (NFL Network)

Cardinals at 49ers as part of the Monday doubleheader. Weak.

As for the Bears, if Briggs is holding out (which he likely will be to start the season), that defense is gonna have its hands full with LT and Co.

Colts-Saints should be a good one.

    Honestly, why?

1.) West coast game, so it can start at 7 out there.

2.) Get two required prime-time appearances out of the way in one game. (actually, the Niners will probably be on more than once since they showed some promise last year)

Dammit, I hate it when you have reasons that make too much sense.

There's no good reason to put the Cardinals on prime time (or smoke marijuana).

    Well, that was random. :D

I think every team has to appear once in prime-time...especially now that the NFL Network has its slate of games..

  9. It wasn't random. Read the last few pages of the Random Thoughts thread.

Since we're not even to the baseball opener yet, I'll save my "excitement" about this "announcement" for, I dunno, August or something.

And Lions-Packers on Thanksgiving? Fine for Packer fanboy me. But the rest of America? Just imagine Roger Goodell unzipping his pants and peeing all over your Thanksgiving dinner.

Hey America! Enjoy that turkey? Here, have a bowl of horseshit!

Doesn't NBC have the Super Bowl this year?

I think usual protocol is for the host network to do a dry run of its SB coverage planning at a regular-season game at the site of the Bowl.
