    Winning score might be -22.

  4. TW +3 thru 7.
    Thomas 3-under through 9

Could be a short weekend for Woods.

Tiger's gotta be exhausted. Never played a week before a major in the old days, but wanted to get into Akron.

  6. He's a moved up, down to +1 through 14. Mickelson is +4.
Fowler on top at 5-under on 18.

Woods finishes at even, as does McIlroy. Nobody ever lost a major going even par on a Thursday. Fowler can certainly go low, and it wouldn't shock or even surprise if he won, but he has a bad habit of following low rounds with 73s and 74s.

Woods and Schauffle getting to even after their starts is huge.

Would enjoy watching Rickie finally break through since he appears to be such a great guy and someone who has the full repertoire. He'd be an improvement over the Keegan Bradley/Junior (Oops Jimmy) Walker/Dufner types.

Count me in as someone who would love to see Fowler win one. DJ and JDay lurking near the top.

Didn’t see a second of it. Too much to do. Hoping to watch tomorrow.

After his start, Woods did well to get back time even par. Gonna have to go really low the rest of the way though. Around 15-under is my number.

My pick Fleetwood at 1-under. Hanging around.

I was paying more attention to the U.S. Women's Am, but that's because we have a horse in the race. FS1's coverage, per usual, was abysmal.
