Had no idea Ralph Nader was still alive until I saw a comment from him about the USPS on my Twitter feed today.

May he spend his final moments being squat-jacked by a troop of meth-addled silverback mountain gorillas.

I definitely would name a fantasy team the Meth-Addled Silverback Mountain Gorillas.

I sincerely thank you for identifying the redhead in the governor's office.

Good lord, she had big boobies.

I watched it again last week. It was as funny as it was when I saw it in 1974 and the dozens of times since. It’s been a few years but I still remembered most of the dialogue.

    Give me a harrumph!

I saw it in Atlanta about a week after it premiered. There was a film critic who wrote for Life magazine that used the pen name "Cyclops". He mentioned the railroad work crew breaking into Cole Porter and I was hooked. I can't think of another movie that made me laugh harder or more often.

Yeah, I'm an old. Life magazine was one hell of a publication back in the day.

I'm an old geezer, too. Only Animal House and Porky's come close ... reasonably close ... for me. "Now, let me whip this out!"

I have a Black friend who said "excuse me while I whip this out" when pulling his vows out of his pocket at his wedding.

And his wife later said a lot of her white friends wanted to know if it was "twue."
