After 20 years of military service, and 10 years plus in the private sector I have spent the last 8 years pursuing my first love; sports. Never quite good enough to be a professional athlete, I am now a freelance sportswriter/broadcaster covering everything from high school to the professional ranks. I am credentialed with the Houston Astros, Houston Texans, Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash along with various local colleges in the Houston area.I am as comfortable on the sidelines of a gridiron championship game as I am sitting in a gym for eight hours watching basketball.I enjoy being both behind and in front of the microphone painting word pictures. Sports are my life as I am a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan married to a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.
