How, exactly, have I "danced around" what people can earn with us?

If you want to be critical of the industry or the general way in which compensation is handled, that's fine. That's expected and understood. It's hardly a perfect system. There has been no effort to mislead anyone here though.
 
We don't pretend that writers are going to draw 1 million PVs because that's unreasonable. We're up front about things. And the rates increase once people get used to how we do things.

Is it a perfect system? Hardly, and we know that, but nothing in this industry is.
So in other words, you are looking to take advantage of people in this industry instead of trying to do right by us? This really sucks!

How are they taking advantage? What does 'do right' mean?

These are jobs that wouldn't exist if not for these sites. Are the sites legally obliged to pay only a living wage for full time work?
