Woman who falsely accused Bengals' Chris Henry now accused of murder

CINCINNATI -- Police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with the slaying of a Golf Manor man.

Monica Beamon has been charged with one count of murder.

Officers found Louis Carcelli dead inside an apartment on Aug. 25 after someone said they found a broken window and blood.

According to an affidavit, Carcelli solicited Beamon for sex and drove her back to his apartment, where Beamon killed him after arguing over money.

Police said Beamon then stole the victim's car.

Detectives identified Beamon as a suspect in the case and found her in Avondale at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

She's being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Beamon was charged with making a false report by Covington police after she claimed that Cincinnati Bengal Chris Henry sexually ashaulted her.

Henry is accused of providing alcohol to Beamon and two other underage girls.
