Who f*cking needs a Tarantino Star Trek film?

"Me too"

The scene where they use a bunch of Tribbles to mop up a blood-soaked shuttle craft sounds disturbing.

Trekkies may just have to like it or lump it. From what I've read the last several months, if there's no Tarantino Star Trek movie, apparently there will be no Star Trek movie at all.

He's never had ideas of his own - he's always just remade b-movies with a-listers, great cinematography and big budgets.
Come on. The guy wrote the screenplays to Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, Natural Born Killers (the original story, anyway) and Pulp Fiction. To say he added nothing original to filmmaking is preposterous.

He's put his own spin on things - and I think his celebration of B cinema should be lauded - some good bits of dialogue here and there, Pulp Fiction was probably his masterpiece, but again it isn't just that he revisits older films, it's that he doesn't really use the opportunity to use that to say something about today. Tarantino would have been an interesting choice for BlackKKKlansman after Spike Lee.
