I wanted to leave this thread alone, but really??? He's the best player in baseball? He's definitely one of the most talented players in baseball but he certainly wasn't the best player this season. I just don't believe that there's anything definitive that says he's the best player in the game right now.

Just wondering, it's clear that a lot of people that attack A-Rod (like myself) just flat out do notn like him, but for those that defend him I'm honestly curious as to why, especially those who are so steadfast in your support. Do you actually like him? Or are you Yankees fans? Just feel the need to stand up for someone you believe is getting a bad rap? I'm really interested because I just don't see why people would like the guy.
