The Naperville Sun, a Sun-Times News Group daily newspaper located about 30 miles west of Chicago and regular APSE, IPA and NINA award-winner, is seeking an energetic and motivated person for a full-time sports staff writer position.

The job is five days per week (about 37.5 hours/week) and includes a full range of benefits.

Duties include coverage of local high schools as well as some pro and college sports and creative enterprise work; experience and interest in covering amateur and pro golf is preferred but not required.

Some desk editing work may be required.

Please email resume and a few clips (both feature and coverage) to Sun Sports Editor Brad Nolan at [email protected]

In circulation and pay, yes. In quality, not really. Naperville is one of the best small dailies in the country.
