I believe this is may be a repeat but the Daily Advertiser is looking for a versatile journalism leader who can inspire a team to produce outstanding sports coverage in print and online and can help ashign, edit, and determine story play for news and features in an innovative newsroom structured for a multi-media age. Must have five years experience in a sports section at a daily newspaper and at least two years of supervisory experience. Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as familiarity with the Internet. Page design, copy editing, and web posting skills are a plus. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package for full time employees. To apply for this position, send your resume and salary history by mail to: Human Resources Department, Attn: Sports Editor, P. O. Box 5310, Lafayette, LA 70502, or by fax: 337/289-6409, or by e-mail: [email protected]. EOE.

Where's the ad from? Thought they were looking to fill this job a month ago. Plus, kinda late isn't? The season starts now.

Anyone know how many SEs have been through here? It seems like it's been a revolvin' door.

P.S. It's Gannett, so what's the upsides/downsides?
