Her coach says she will work on solidifying her credentials on the LPGA:

We can only pray that the article comes true and that she doesn't play in any men's events for the next year (or more).

Agreed. I like her, and I would love to see her be able to hang with the men. But if it isn't happening, it isn't happening. You don't leave a phenom pitcher in the game when he's given up 7 runs in 2 innings.

It is about time. She hasn't really the earned the right to be on the men's tour because she hasn't done much on the women's tour. Has she even won one yet?

She needs to show she is dominant on the LPGA before we should have to take her seriously on the PGA tour.

Yep.

I was totally willing to let her do her thing on the PGA tour, but she's not ready to do it right now, whether it's a physical, mental, or emotional reason. Whatever. Dad (+ and agents + corporate sponsors) need to just chill out and let Michelle be a teenage girl and let her have some fun.

I hope she is able to go and compete with the men in the future. I like her. But there's no justification for it right now, IMO.

Ha ha. :)

With Sorenstam seemingly nearing the end of her run -- she's still solid, but injuries and perhaps other interests will take away from her actual tournament time -- now is the time for Wie to pledge allegiance to the LPGA. With her, Ochoa, and the other younger and solid veterans on tour, it's darn time Wie stopped fooling around with thoughts of the PGA Tour. Good luck to her.
