Well, 1/2 of a root canal down, 1 1/2 to go, along with the removal of my wisdom teeth, which are causing all kinds of problems.

The joys of the day:

* The dentist not stopping when my nerve wasn't numb, and I was squirming and crying in the chair and he just kept...on...drilling.

* Being told I would owe $335 just for today, then another $450 next time I go back.

Turns out, that's not UP FRONT. That's COPAY. My COPAY is $800 I don't have. If I had understood that, I would have not had the operation.
